There comes a moment in life when we find ourselves at a crossroads. One path is easy to give up, to surrender to despair and drift into the shadows.
The other path is uncertain, demanding a quiet rebellion against everything we’ve become. It’s the path of transformation,of choosing to face ourselves.
Many people, at some point, find themselves grappling with anxiety, despair, or a deep sense of failure. The temptation to retreat, to live passively or give in to hopelessness, is strong.
But those who dare to pause and look inward often discover something extraordinary. This is not a story about personal success or failure.
It is a reflection of a journey that many undertake in silence—a journey of self-awareness, solitude, and the profound power of inner stillness.
Modern life is noisy. We are surrounded by voices, screens, opinions, and expectations. Amidst this chaos, introspection becomes rare, even suspect.
People often misunderstand solitude as loneliness. But there’s a world of difference. Loneliness is the ache of separation; solitude is the peace of self-connection.
Stillness is not something external—it is a quality of being, a state where one observes without judgment. But reaching that state is difficult when we’re conditioned to equate success with constant activity and validation.
For years, many drift through life in auto-pilot mode, reacting instead of reflecting.
In a world where everyone talks, what happens to the one who chooses to listen—to themselves, to silence, to the heartbeat of life?
The Diary of the Inner Childhood
Many people first encounter their inner self during moments of isolation—through journaling, art, or quiet contemplation.
A simple diary can become a sacred space, a silent witness to our chaos, dreams, questions, and longings. Writing our thoughts can be an act of meditation—a way of facing the mirror with honesty.
From early childhood, many of us are taught to fit in, to be like others. But the truth is: living authentically is the most radical act in a world driven by conformity.
The struggle is real—between being accepted and being true, between following the herd and following the heart.
Why Solitude Matters
Solitude is not an escape from life—it is a return to it. In solitude, we stop performing. We stop pretending. We begin to see our own mind—the way it craves approval, fears rejection, oscillates between guilt and pride.
In solitude, we begin to differentiate between reaction and response. When we sit silently with ourselves, without distractions, we notice the patterns we live by.
These insights don’t require a guru, a spiritual center, or a life-changing seminar. What they need is a willingness to be still.
Solitude allows us to touch the core of being, where thoughts arise and dissolve like clouds in the vast sky of awareness.
This is not a philosophical idea—it is an experience anyone can access when they stop running from themselves
From Loneliness to Choiceless Awareness
At first, solitude may bring discomfort. It may highlight everything we avoid: suppressed emotions, regrets, anger, and self-doubt. But if we stay—if we don’t escape—it begins to teach us.
Choiceless awareness is a term popularized by philosopher J. Krishnamurti. It means observing without interference—watching your thoughts, emotions, and sensations without labeling them good or bad. It is a state of mind that is alert, open, and present.
When we live in choiceless awareness, we stop resisting what is. We begin to notice how deeply conditioned we are—to compare, to desire, to fear. This observation itself begins to free us.
Redefining Failure and Success
Failure, especially in relationships or careers, is often seen as a personal defeat. But what if failure is simply a redirection? What if it’s life’s way of asking us to pause and re-evaluate?
There is a deeper kind of success that isn’t visible on social media or celebrated in public. It is the quiet success of knowing oneself, of living consciously, of not being a slave to our own thoughts and patterns.
Many spend years chasing love, money, or status only to discover that none of these satisfy if we are not at peace with ourselves. Real healing begins not when the world changes, but when our relationship with ourselves transforms.
The Role of Meditation in Inner Clarity
Meditation isn’t about controlling the mind; it’s about understanding it. It is the art of watching without interfering.
When practiced regularly, meditation reveals how reactive our minds have become, how scattered our attention is, and how often we act out of habit rather than clarity.
True meditation is not confined to sitting cross-legged in a quiet room. It is a state of presence that can be practiced while walking, eating, or simply breathing. It is about being fully alive in the moment without getting lost in thoughts about the past or future.
Over time, meditation brings an inner stillness that is not dependent on external silence. It helps us break free from compulsive thinking and connect with a deeper intelligence that resides in the present moment.
Healing Begins with Self-Responsibility
A major turning point in any inner journey is the acceptance of personal responsibility. Not in the sense of blaming oneself, but in owning one’s inner world.
No one else can think our thoughts or feel our emotions for us. Healing begins the moment we stop outsourcing our power.
It is tempting to look for saviors—gurus, books, spiritual influencers. But in truth, the greatest teacher is life itself. Every situation, every relationship, every failure is a lesson in awareness.
True transformation doesn’t require vows, rituals, or grand declarations. It requires sincerity. A quiet commitment to stop lying to ourselves. A willingness to observe, to stay, to understand.
Stillness: The Forgotten Superpower
Stillness is not passive. It is not inertia. It is dynamic, alive, and intelligent. Stillness is the space from which all clarity arises. When the mind is still, insight flows effortlessly.
We often think of action as the solution to every problem. But sometimes, the most powerful act is to be still and listen to observe what the mind is doing, to feel what the body is carrying, to sense what the heart is whispering.
In stillness, we realize that the mind is not who we are. Thoughts come and go, but awareness remains. This realization is the beginning of true freedom.
The Path Ahead: A Journey for All
The journey within is not a one-time event. It is a continuous unfolding. Some days are full of insight and energy; others feel like setbacks. But each day lived in awareness is a victory.
Whether you’re at the beginning of your inner work or somewhere in the middle, remember this: you are not alone.
Solitude may feel isolating, but it connects you to the essence of life. In solitude, we don’t withdraw from the world—we meet it more deeply.
This is not just one person’s journey. It is a shared human journey. The experiences may vary, but the questions, the longings, and the struggles are universal. We are all walking each other home.
When A Seed in The Mind Becomes A Tree
Transformation is natural. Just as a seed becomes a tree through surrender to nature’s intelligence, we too can grow into our fullest selves by surrendering to the intelligence of the present moment.
This journey is not about becoming someone else. It is about coming home to who you already are.
It’s about dropping the layers of conditioning and discovering the still, silent presence beneath it all.
So, take that first step—not towards the world, but inward. Sit in silence. Embrace solitude. Watch the mind. Breathe. And begin.
Let this not be just my story. Let it be a mirror for yours.
People think solitude means cutting yourself off from the world—going away to the mountains, isolating yourself in a room, or avoiding Human relationshipsBut that is not true solitude.
That is merely being physically alone.True solitude is an inner stillness, a quiet space within, untouched by the chaos of the world. It is a silence that doesn’t depend on your surroundings but arises when the mind stops escaping from itself.
In this blog, we’ll explore what real solitude means, how it’s different from loneliness, and how embracing emptiness can lead to deep bliss and inner freedom.
What Solitude Is Not?
Let’s Clear All Your Misconception About Solitude.
Sitting quietly in The Room
Walking Alone on The Street
Being introverted and avoiding people?
Reading a book alone?
These may look like solitude, but they’re not necessarily so.Sometimes, people choose isolation because they no longer enjoy social settings
But this withdrawal is not solitude—it’s a reaction. It’s an escape.Even being physically alone while watching TV, using your phone, reading, or meditating with expectations none of these guarantee solitude.
Solitude is not about the absence of people. It’s about the presence of awareness.
Fact is We All Are Psychologically Alone
From birth till death, we live in our own psychological world. We may have friends, family, or a partner. But everything we feel, think, and experience—all of it happens within our own mind.
We hear, see, think, imagine, react, feel pain or joy—all inside. We are deeply alone in this inner world.
Understanding this truth of psychological solitude is the beginning of real meditation.
Escaping the Inner Emptiness
Why do we fear solitude?
Because when we sit alone, doing nothing—something arises:A strange, haunting feeling of emptiness. We immediately try to fill that emptiness:
We get into relationships. We start following ideas or belief systems. We keep ourselves busy with work, entertainment, or hobbies.
We seek distractions—alcohol, shopping, rituals, spiritual books. But no matter what we do, this emptiness never truly goes away.
We fill it temporarily, only to feel empty again. Why?Because we are trying to escape something that’s not a problem—something that is actually natural.
The Birth of True Solitude
The day we clearly see without resistance that no outer thing can fill our inner void, a shift happens. That very moment marks the birth of true solitude. And this solitude is not loneliness.
It’s not sadness or helplessness. It’s not a result of failure or rejection. It’s a natural stillness, a state of being, where you stop trying to escape. It’s effortless presence.
You don’t have to run away from society. You don’t have to meditate for hours. You just need to stay with yourself—without escaping.
Solitude and the Mind’s Storm
Even after solitude arises, the mind continues its movements:Thoughts still come.Emotions still arise.
Fears still visit. But now, in solitude, you are not disturbed by them.
Whether the mind creates anxiety, desire, fear, or imagination—you remain a silent witness. You realize something profound
“Everything in the mind is temporary.”
Pain comes and goes.Pleasure comes and goes.Desire arises and fades.
Emotions bloom and vanish. But something inside remains unmoved, unbroken, and silent. That is real solitude.
Solitude vs. Loneliness
Loneliness is a state of mind that cries for company. It comes from lack. It’s filled with fear.Solitude is the opposite.
It is abundance of presence. It is peace, not dependence.Loneliness wants someone.
Solitude doesn’t need anyone. In solitude, you’re not pushing people away. You are simply at peace with yourself.
Solitude Is Stillness in Motion
Even in the middle of traffic noise, people talking, daily life buzzing around—you can live in deep stillness. This solitude doesn’t depend on silence outside.
It is silence inside. You hear everything, yet you’re untouched.
Thoughts come, images appear, memories arise but you’re not escaping, not identifying, not reacting. You are just watching.
Meditation and Solitude
People think meditation is something you “do”—like a technique. But true meditation is not an action.
It is awareness without choice. And solitude is the natural space in which meditation blossoms.
When you stop forcing, stop trying, and just observe your mind without judging that observation is meditation.Solitude is not a path to meditation.
Solitude is meditation.
The End of the “Me”
In deep solitude, something else happens-The idea of “Me” begins to dissolve.
All our stories, attachments, memories, opinions, judgments—they all arise from this center called “Me.
”But in real solitude, when we stay with ourselves without reacting, this center fades.
There’s no longer someone to protect, to defend, to prove. There is only pure presence, free of identity.
The Bliss of Emptiness
Yes, you read that right.Emptiness is not a curse. When you stop running from it Then it becomes bliss.
That same void you feared, that hollow space in your heart—you now see it with new eyes.
You realize it’s not something to fix. It’s something to embrace. And in that embrace, there’s a lightness a freedom beyond words.
Solitude Is a Journey Within
This journey is not glamorous. It’s not popular And it certainly isn’t easy. But if you are willing to sit with your fears, observe your mind, and not run then something magical unfolds.
Every moment becomes fresh. You are not living in memory or imagination. You are alive.
You are aware. You are no longer trying to escape your inner world.
You are living in it,gently, consciously.
Turtle Reflections
Most people fear emptiness and try to fill it.But those who have the courage to sit with it—without judgment, without escape—they find something eternal.
They discover a stillness that is not forced,a peace that doesn’t depend on circumstances,a solitude that is blissful.
So, if you find yourself feeling empty, alone, or restless—don’t run.Sit with it. Watch it. Live it.
Because: In the heart of emptiness, lies the seed of true freedom.
We all accept death as an undeniable truth. This body, along with all its experiences, knowledge, memories, and whatever it has acquired, will eventually perish one day. But something within us never dies. It remains constant—unchanging. It was there before us, and it will remain after us. That eternal, infinite, peaceful, silent, and ever-present existence is our real self.
If one wants to understand it, they must let go of every type of thought and imagination. This understanding will only dawn when we realize we are not just this body—we are the consciousness beyond it.
Our mind must remain still and pure. Only then can it go beyond every movement, thought, and imagination. The mind asks questions, desires, and craves. But when it is present in the moment—when it becomes still in the stillness of every experience—it becomes free of attachments and fears.
However, this is extremely difficult, because our mind remains trapped in the world of images, thoughts, and ideologies. It constantly seeks support and familiarity, making it afraid to step beyond the known. The mind constantly compares, and this keeps it bound in the chains of the past and future. It forgets the reality of the present moment.
Is it possible for the mind to be completely still? The mind holds on to memories, experiences, and emotions. It is impossible for the mind to move towards liberation as long as it is carrying the burden of the past. The mind cannot comprehend the formless, the unknown, or the infinite. It only knows what is finite, limited, and describable.
Can silence be defined? Can simplicity be captured in words? Can it be bound by beliefs? Can it be understood by the mind that is driven by desires, pleasures, and ambitions?
Can the mind, which always seeks something, truly know joy? Can it ever understand what it cannot grasp? The mind that is stuck in the known, in what the eyes see and the intellect interprets—can it realize what lies beyond? Can This Unknown can be grasp by Our narrow, self-centered, and limited mind?
So, how can we truly know ourselves? How can the mind cross into timeless living? Is there any method or rule for this? Is there a set path? Who will show us the way? Is it something a guru, scripture, meditation, or method can provide? Can we find it through social media or by following others?
The truth is, the mind should simply observe—its actions, thoughts, and feelings. Not analyze them, not get trapped in imagination or theories. Our thoughts often observe only from the perspective of the thinker itself, which keeps perception caged within the mind.
We are not truly looking at our mind—we are looking through our mind. Perhaps in a moment of silence, when you are not trying to fix your mind but are simply with it, as a mother is with her child, that presence holds awareness and clarity.
Still Mind Has No Path
The truth is what is. It doesn’t need a path. It doesn’t need a guide. This is not something that can be achieved by any technique or motivational trick. The relationship between our inner reality and the outer world must be understood directly.
We must learn to observe without intellectual analysis. True understanding lies in direct perception.
We have created images of ourselves—religious ideas, political opinions, and all the symbols, beliefs, and ideologies that come with them. These images define us, but they also limit us. They keep us from true freedom.
If we don’t challenge this, if we don’t explore this deeply, we will remain trapped. True freedom is born from this inward revolution—not in the outer world of power and praise, but in the inner world of presence and perception.
Stillness Breaks All illusions
Everything stored in our mind—our thoughts, ideas, and conditioning—makes up the content of our mind. This content is shaped by our family, caste, religion, and country. This psychological world of content keeps us all trapped.
We are all alike, bound by the same conditioning. However, this content separates us into individuals. It gives rise to comparison, pain, gain, success, and failure. We experience joy and sorrow through the lens of this individual identity.
We only know ourselves in relation to others. When we react without any real choice, without any motive, reward, or punishment—only then do we glimpse what freedom feels like.
Only Still Mind Can Understand what freedom means
Freedom means living without being driven by psychological pain or pleasure. True freedom is the state in which we live without being tied to constant thought patterns.
Most of our thoughts come from the past, and hence our mind functions mostly within the boundaries of past, present, and future. Because of this, we never come to know timelessness. We remain slaves to our thoughts our entire life, unaware of real freedom.
But as we begin to pay attention to ourselves, to our daily life, to the functioning of our thoughts, we start noticing something different. We begin to observe the movement of thoughts and the space between the thinker and the thought, the observer and the observed, the experiencer and the experienced.
This separation is false—it’s imaginary. This division is an illusion. Then we are able to see ourselves. Then we are our whole mind in this moment. Can see. Then we get true insight about ourselves. Which breaks the deep layers of our mind.
Intelligence is the Creation Of Still Mind
People talk about intelligence. When the mind is completely independent from its past, from its thoughts, from its individuality, only then will it be able to act in this world with intelligence and compassion. Stillness of mind creates intelligence which is beyond Time and Thought.
Look at yourself. Be cautious about your life. Don’t just speak, listen also. Understand your inner life as well as your outer world. Look at yourself. Is myself. Seeing in this moment is the beginning of change. Do your daily work carefully. You will find that the intensity of seeing the smell is increasing. Do not indulge in the thoughts of your mind or interpret them. Let the mind perform its actions with freedom. Just keep looking at Svanch with AHerion. From today, from this very moment.
Dear readers As you journey back into your daily life, carry this truth with you: the still mind is your true sanctuary. Beyond the chatter of thoughts lies a space untouched by time and turmoil — your essence. Return to it often, not by force, but by surrender. For in stillness, you don’t lose yourself — you find who you truly are.
Thank you for taking the time to journey through these words. May the stillness within you deepen, guiding you gently toward peace, clarity, and presence. Your attention is sacred — I’m truly grateful you shared it here.
When a child is born, they live in a state of pure innocence. They hear sounds without knowing what they mean. They look at things without labeling them. They are present in the moment, without thoughts or imagination.
But soon, we give this child a name. They are introduced to their surroundings and taught about “me” and “mine.” This naming marks the birth of the ego, and slowly, the mind begins to accumulate experiences, emotions, memories, and thoughts. The child, once pure awareness, starts identifying as an individual—separate from the world.
As time passes, this individual begins labeling experiences as good or bad. They interpret life not as it is, but through the lens of past memories. Every thought, every emotion gets recorded in the mind’s library. Life is no longer lived; it is analyzed, filtered, and compared. The past becomes the center of perception.
This is how a Thinker is born.
A Thinker is someone who sees the present through the fog of the past. Instead of directly experiencing life, they interpret it. Every moment is seen in relation to previous experiences, opinions, and conclusions. This creates a psychological center, a story called “Me.”
The Thinker lives in a house built with memories and personal beliefs. Their preferences, likes, dislikes, and thoughts revolve around a specific pattern shaped by time. This psychological identity is an ongoing story based on what has happened before. In essence, a Thinker is not living in the now—they are living in a memory.
Thinker and The Thought
When we observe our mind closely, we often see a thought, and we become aware of it. This attention to thought gives rise to the illusion of a “Thinker.” But is there truly a Thinker? Or is it just thought appearing with awareness? if there’s no thought, there’s no Thinker either.
The idea of a Thinker is born out of accumulated thoughts, knowledge, and experiences. When thought arises, we believe someone is thinking it. But the truth is—thought appears on its own. Then another thought appears, saying, “I thought this.”
This illusion strengthens the identity of the Thinker. We then begin to trust our thoughts like advisors. We follow them blindly, assuming they know what’s best. But maybe the real question is:
Who’s thinking the thought? Or is the thought thinking you?The Thinker is not separate from thought. The idea of “I am thinking” is a mental construction. True freedom lies in observing this illusion and living without being trapped in the past.
When we drop the identity of the Thinker, what remains is pure awareness—silent, alert, and present.
The Thinker’s Trap
The Thinker always reacts to incoming thoughts, analyzing them, labeling them, and forming opinions. This constant judgment creates inner conflict. We often don’t realize that the conflict in our minds is born from this habit of continuously interpreting thoughts.
When a thought appears, the Thinker tries to assess it: Is this thought right or wrong? Pleasant or unpleasant? This chain of analysis keeps the mind busy, and in that noise, peace gets lost. This is the root of psychological conflict—the Thinker is nothing but a product of thoughts.
All thoughts are formed from past impressions. And from those thoughts, the Thinker is imagined. Without thought, the Thinker disappears. Just like shadows vanish in light.
But this illusion of a Thinker gives rise to a sense of personal choice—what to like or dislike, what to accept or reject. This becomes the ground for a judgmental life: good and bad, right and wrong, high and low. All of it stems from conditioning based on memory.
We start believing: “This is how I am,” and “This is how life works.” But this belief is just a product of the past. Our actions too are never complete or fresh—they’re driven by old patterns, not present awareness.
Trapped in Repetition
As we grow up, the fresh innocence of our childhood mind is lost. We operate through past filters of experience. This keeps us confined in a cycle: same emotions, same problems, same reactions.
From the outside, life may appear to change—new clothes, school, office, relationships—but inside, we remain the same. We say things like, “I’ve always been like this,” or “This is how life is.” Each year feels like a repeat of the last. And we confuse this mental loop for real living.
The Thinker becomes comfortable in this repetitive life. It feels safe. It feels familiar. But in reality, we are just living out our programming—automatically and unconsciously.
Breaking Free
We start believing that living in this self-centered way is the only right way. We cling to our limited understanding and resist change—not because we can’t change, but because we don’t want to.
True freedom begins when we stop identifying with the Thinker and start observing thoughts without judgment. It begins when we question our mental patterns and step into awareness.Because you are not the Thinker. You are the Awareness in which thought arises and fades.
How to See?
Most people who are even a little self-aware know that a thought is never permanent. A thought that moves from our past to the present and towards the future. But we are unable to see or understand our thinker.
This is because the thinker keeps itself separate from the thought force. Whenever we are in a conflict or are facing any problem, then we should listen to that voice from within which says, no, this is not right, this is right.
Whenever we feel bad about someone’s words, we should see who is feeling bad. I looked at my long term habits to bring about a change in myself. I saw that there are many habits that have been going on in me since childhood.
I have been collecting all the information about them. When did I start these habits? Why did I start? Why have I continued it till now? And why have I never tried to change them. I think the solution to any problem can be found only by developing understanding.
This can only be done by going within ourselves. Words make us feel bad and words make us feel good. When we use words beyond thinking, they are action oriented. Through thinking, we are able to find permanent solutions to problems. Then we live a life that is permanent.
Attention: is Everything:-
Whatever situation you are in, whatever life you are living, whatever your wishes, pleasures or desires are, attention makes no difference. Watch yourself as a mother watches her child laugh, play and cry. Watch your mind with freedom.
With joy and courage. When you talk. When you listen. When you do your daily chores.Allow your mind to bring in various thoughts. Do not get entangled in them. Do not get carried away by them. Just allow them to come and go. Attention.
There is light within us through which we can see every darkness of our mind. We can clean the dirt of years of stress, bad memories, trauma accumulated in our mind. But for this we will have to work hard. We will have to sit with ourselves.
We will have to listen to ourselves. We will have to see both the good and bad images of ourselves. Only then will we know ourselves. We will be able to understand the deeper layers of the mind.
Reality is not a word
The permanent peace which we want to understand through words and imaginations. It is There are no words. Words exist only within the boundaries of the mind. There are no words beyond the boundaries of the mind.
If we look at the feelings arising from every word and imagination in our mind, then we will see in this very moment who we are. And we are not words. We are not this story of our self. We are not this duality. Attention is like the light present within us which can transform us from animals to humans. Attention is timeless.
It is undestructible. No words, experiences, emotions, imagination or sorrow of life can touch it. Attention is complete freedom, peace. Is it not so? So we should start exploring ourselves from today, from this very moment.
Thanks for reading. I hope this article has given you some clarity about the thinker and the thought. enquire into yourself. Explore your mind then you will find something Permanent. Be attentive. That’s all you need to do.
All day long, we keep talking to ourselves in The Mind. One thought follows another. One emotion follows another. Wherever we go, the mind’s chattering keeps going on.Do we not live in this chattering?
If a negative thought comes, we start thinking of good thoughts to counter it. If a bad emotion arises, we engage in some task. If someone hurt us, we live in that anger. We keep changing our mental state based on past events in life.
But have we ever asked ourselves: if this had not happened, would I still be the same person today? We say – if this hadn’t happened, that wouldn’t have either. If this hadn’t happened, this wouldn’t be my life.
In this way, the mind keeps moving from past to the future, from one moment to a thought coming from the past, and it keeps shifting toward the future.Every day feels like a repeat of the previous day. Every year becomes a repetition of the past year.
Who is Going To tell us What to do?
All day, we keep talking to ourselves And we give meaning to events based on our knowledge, belief, memories, and experiences.
Is this really our life? Do we live only like this? Each and Every moment our mind is silent And internally, our chattering keeps going on.
Have you ever tried to understand whether the difficult questions of life can really be solved? Can this understanding come from any book?
Will we get answers from someone else’s mind?If we want to truly understand every process of our own mind, then why should someone else explain it to us? Why should we copy others?
We keep on enduring ourselves.Every day, knowingly or unknowingly, we say so many bad things to ourselves, feel anxious, feel worthless, suffer due to our own habits, and yet make no effort to change.
Why?Because we are not ready to understand ourselves deeply. To bring complete change, we need courage. Don’t We Fear By Our own thoughts and imagination, we fear the same things that we want to change. We have to accept this responsibility: no one else can understand us better than ourselves.
Others can explain for a while, but true help can never come from outside. If there is something most beautiful around us, it is understanding things deeply and without judgment.
No One Can Help You But You: Wake Up
No one in the world can work on us the way we can work on ourselves through deep, direct observation. The mind only understands things at the conscious level, and we live in that conscious world all day.But we are driven by our unconscious past.Do we ever try to understand the deep unconscious layers of our mind?
Those who do, understand the best way to reprogram themselves.I have made an attempt to understand this.If we face ourselves, only then will we realize what is truly going on inside us.Now we must certainly change.
Not just at the conscious level, but to change the deep patterns of the mind, we must start from today, from this moment.Self-knowledge is an endless process. It’s not something that we do for a few days and then go back to our old ways.
The First Step is The Last Step
The moment we start truly transforming ourselves, that step is enough. We don’t need to try to become better; instead, we should focus on deeply understanding ourselves.
There is no method, no technique, Teacher who can do this for us.Once we understand this, we embark on a journey into the depths of our mind—
A journey of awareness to understand ourselves, we don’t need to go anywhere. We can understand all this within our daily life.
If we genuinely want to know ourselves, and if we stop seeking externally for that understanding, we might begin to see clearly.
Even by simply observing our daily actions, we can begin this understanding. Our entire 24 hours reflect how we live and what our true intentions are.
What is the lens through which we look at the world? How do we meet people? How do we listen? What do we think? How do we perceive any event or thought? Aren’t we all this?isn’t This Our Life?
Journey Of Self Understanding
Self understanding always begins with questioning. For example, if we feel bad about someone’s words, then why do we feel bad? How are our reactions? Can we see the emotions that arise within us? Why are we so self-centered, isolated ? What are we sad about and what are we afraid of? On whom are we dependent and on whom do we express our trust? What is our belief system? Aren’t we all this? Isn’t this self understanding? Self understanding is not a Word. It is something that breaks all the boundaries of our mind. It frees us from all our limitations. It frees us from all sorrows. This self knowledge is the freedom that can free us from all the vices.

Change is never been . If it were easy, this world would not be the way it is. People are afraid of making changes. People have been told that this is a very difficult task. People are afraid that they will get lost. But only change can set us free. There is no need to be afraid of change. It has to be accepted with responsibility. Every activity of your mind has to be understood with Attention. From today, right now. In this very moment.

Hello Everyone! Positive Turtle welcomes you back. This time, we will delve into the Greatest of All time questions of human beings, such as “How can we master the mind?” and “How can we control the mind? And what is the real Peace Of Mind?
J. Krishnamurthy1 Once Said,“the mind is always in Movement. One thought unknowingly leads to another, creating a pattern of thinking.Once these patterns Create a long-term habits, it can be challenging to change them”.This Quote seems Valid but the real question is Why don’t we change until we suffer so much? What holds us back from embracing the change? Why do we hesitate to discover what truly means to live well in a world where we are often trapped in conditioned patterns of thinking?
Many of us carry wounds created by our own minds. As the Stoic philosopher Seneca2 wisely said, “We suffer more often in imagination than in reality.”isn’t this well said quote? It is indeed.Change is the ultimate reality of life. We are born as children and grow old as we age, experiencing change at every moment.
Yet, very few people seek to change themselves from within. We often fail to ask ourselves the important questions or explore the deep, hidden layers of our minds, where all suffering originates.
I enjoy reading short motivational stories, and I’d like to share the story of “The Rebirth Of an EAGLE ” You may heard this Famous Short story but I hope you grasp the deep, hidden meaning behind this tale. Let’s read it together!
There is an old story about the rebirth of an eagle. Eagles have the longest lifespan of their species, living up to 70 years. However, to reach this age, the eagle must make a tough decision when it turns 40. By this time, its long and flexible talons can no longer grasp food, its sharp beak becomes bent, and its heavy wings make flying difficult. Then the eagle is left with only two options.Die or go through the painful process of change.
the eagle chooses the Painful Path. This process requires the eagle to fly to the mountaintop and sit in its nest. There, it begins by knocking its beak against a rock until it plucks it out. The eagle then waits for a new beak to grow back before plucking out its talons. Once its new talons have grown, the eagle starts removing its old feathers. After this transformation, the eagle takes its famous flight and lives for an additional 30 years.
Why is change necessary for the Peace of mind? It’s essential for our Survival and growth, isn’t it? While change can be painful but we must begin the process if we truly want to find meaning in our lives. Like the eagle, we need to let go of unpleasant memories, negative habits, and rigid mindsets. Embracing change allows us to soar to new heights. We must free ourselves from past wounds and embrace the present. The present moment is an ocean of infinite health, wealth, and intelligence.
Mastering the Mind: Difficult but Possible
The human mind and its control is a subject of great interest to us, as our minds have the most significant influence on our lives. Each of us possesses some understanding of this topic and attempts to manage our minds for personal growth and development. However, it’s crucial to delve deeper and understand the problems we create in our daily lives. Can anyone assist us in this endeavour? Ultimately, we are the best judges of our own minds. No one can understand us better than we can, as we cannot hide our true selves from ourselves.
To deepen our understanding, we can learn from people and books, but we should not rely solely on anyone or anything. We must avoid searching for a magic pill in our journey of self-discovery. True growth comes from within, and it’s essential to embrace the process of understanding ourselves independently. If we truly love this game of mastering the mind, then nothing is impossible for us. Yes, it requires skills like attention, kindness, consistency, and, most importantly, fearlessness. This fearlessness empowers us to persevere, even in the face of countless setbacks.
Let’s explore the other half of the article: the “Timeless Teachings Of Bhagavad Gita” If you read the Gita, you may find answers to many of life’s questions. However, many people struggle to grasp its true meaning. Why is that? It’s because we often get stuck on the words and our own imaginations, preventing us from discovering the essence of the Gita, which lies beyond mere words and the limits of the human mind.
In the Gita, there is a moment when Lord Krishna explains to Arjuna “how to achieve the ultimate state of Bliss?”.After listening to him, Arjuna, filled with desperation, says, “Hey Madhusudhan3! I’m not sure how to maintain the balanced, steady state of mind you described, especially since the mind is so easily swayed.” “O Krishna! The mind is restless, strong, and stubborn. I find it as difficult to control as trying to control the wind.”
Sri Krishna, Knowing the reality of Arjuna mind, listens to his sufferings Calmly and provides an answer that offers timeless guidance for all.The whole Indian philosophy and meditation practice of controlling the mind, or Manonigrah4, is based on this teaching of Shri Krishna. He says, “O strong-armed one! Yes, the mind is restless and hard to control, but, O Arjuna, with practice and detachment, it can be mastered.”
From the above conversation, we get three basic facts regarding mind control.
Self-control has always been a very difficult task even for Strong man like Arjuna.
Even then it is possible to control the mind.
There are Well-defined methods of Mind control.
In the two words “practice and detachment,” Shri Krishna reveals the entire secret of self-control. Throughout the ages, all the saints and enlightened beings of India have echoed this truth. They affirm that there is no other way to control the mind except through consistent practice and calm detachment.
We can refer to another conversation between Ramakrishna and a devotee, where Ramakrishna highlights an important point to remember:
“Don’t stay quiet just because if there’s something happening in your mind. Move forward! There are greater things beyond sandalwood—like silver mines and gold mines!”
The devotee replies, “Yes, but the mind is held back by its attachments.”
Ramakrishna – What happens by binding the feet? It is about the real mind. Man is bound by the mind and is freed by it.
Sir – my mind is not even in my control.
Sri Ramakrishna – What is this! Abhyasa Yoga- Practice, then you will see that wherever you take your mind, it will go there. The mind is the cloth of the washerman. If you bring it from there and paint it with red colour, it will become red and if you paint it with sky, it will become sky. The colour with which you paint, the same colour will climb on it.
Ramakrishna: “What does it mean to be bound by the feet? It’s about the true nature of the mind. A person is tied down by their mind, but they can also be freed by it.”
Devotee: “But my mind is not even under my control.”
Sri Ramakrishna: “What do you mean? Through Abhyas Yoga5 —practice—you’ll find that wherever you direct your mind, it will follow. The mind is like a piece of cloth. If you take it and dye it red, it will turn red; if you dye it blue, it will turn blue. The color you apply will be what it becomes.”
While practice and detachment are indeed the keys to controlling the mind, the important question is how to incorporate these qualities into our lives. To achieve this:
Strengthen Your Will: Build a strong determination to control your mind.
Understand the Mind: Gain insight into the nature of your mind.
Learn and Practice: Discover effective methods for cultivation and practice them regularly with commitment and focus.
Dear Readers,
Thank you for joining us on this enlightening journey through our article “Peace of Mind.” In this Blog, we explored the profound necessity of change, drawing inspiration from various sources, including the rebirth of the eagle, the teachings of Krishna and Arjuna, and the insightful conversation between Ramkrishana6and his devotee.
Let’s summarise it.
Change is a fundamental aspect of life, much like the eagle that undergoes a transformative rebirth. Just as the eagle sheds its old feathers to embrace new growth, we too must let go of limiting beliefs and habits to unlock our true potential. This process of transformation is not easy, but it is essential for personal growth.
We also delved into the meaningful dialogue between Krishna and Arjuna from the Bhagavad Gita, where Krishna emphasizes the importance of mastering mind. Their conversations remind us that understanding and controlling our thoughts is crucial for navigating life’s challenges. By practicing self-discipline and detachment, we can rise above our struggles and find inner peace.
Additionally, the discussion between Ramakrishna and his devotee highlighted that the mind can either bind us or set us free. With determination and practice, we can learn to direct our thoughts toward positivity and growth.
In essence, mastering the mind is a journey that requires consistent effort and self-awareness. By embracing change, understanding the nature of our minds, and practicing dedication, we can tap into the infinite possibilities that lie within us. 🌿 True Intelligence: A Balance of Mind and Heart“Wisdom begins when the mind is silent.”
🧠 What Is Real Intelligence?
Training the mind in a specific subject does not constitute true intelligence. Intelligence flows from the harmonious integration of both the mind and the heart.
There is a fundamental difference between intellect and intelligence:Intellect is a mechanical thought process—often disconnected from emotion.
Intelligence involves deep awareness, sensitivity, and emotional balance.A person may be intellectually sharp in one area, yet lack holistic intelligence if emotions and empathy are left behind.
🧘 Why Balance Matters
True intelligence blossoms when both thinking and feeling work in balance. In today’s world, education focuses intensely on developing logic and memory.
We’re filling minds with information but failing to touch the heart.
As a result, we build:Smart mindsBut not sensitive heartsWe settle for intellectual brilliance logic, theories, and philosophies—but deep understanding comes only when the heart is involved.
🤯 The Myth of Free Thinking
“Is there such a thing as truly free thought?”All thought is influenced by:
Our upbringingOur cultureEconomic, social, and political atmosphere Even the books we read and the people we follow shape our thoughts.
So the idea of an “independent opinion” is, to a great extent, an illusion.
⚡ When Does True Understanding Happen?Real understanding emerges when the mind is completely silent.
Not in thinking. Not in analysis. But in stillness.
Moments of insight happen:When the mind is not cluttered by old memories When it’s not reacting based on the past When it’s not striving or resisting Like a flash of lightning, a deep truth appears—vivid and alive—when the mind is at rest.
🛑 Why You Can’t Force a Quiet MindYou may be tempted to quiet your mind through:Breathing techniques Meditation routinesMental disciplineBut here’s a truth:
🏵️ A forced silence is not real silence. It’s a deadened state not a lively one.Real silence and true intelligence come from
:Deep interestHonest self-observationNatural awareness—not practice or repetition
🔍 Awareness is the KeyDon’t try to “fix” your thoughts.Don’t analyze or control them.Instead:
Observe carefully.Be fully aware of why you think, feel, or act a certain way.Don’t react. Just notice.Out of this awareness, real understanding blossoms.
🎭 The Illusion of the ‘Self’The idea of “me” is just a collection of desires, memories, and personal stories.
From this arises the conflict:Between “me” and othersBetween “what I am” and “what I should be”This conflict is the root of all inner and outer struggles.
🧘 What Is Meditation Really?“Meditation is not a practice—it’s a state of observation.”
To be aware of every thought To see each emotion without judgment To watch how conditioning shapes every decision…
That honest awareness—right here and now—is meditation.Through it, we transcend the ego and its endless demands.
🌌 You Are the WorldWe often think the world is something “outside” of us.But in truth, we are the world.Your mind, values, habits, assumptions—they are all shaped by the very society you live in.
Yet they also contribute to shaping that society.Until you understand your inner world,You will never understand the outer one.
📜 Tradition, Imitation, & The End of CreativityFrom childhood, traditions shape our thoughts and emotions.
These deeply ingrained beliefs make us imitators rather than creators. Most of us:Copy others not only outwardly, but inwardly Rarely have original thoughts or feelings React based on preset beliefs and conditioned emotions And there is no freedom in reaction.
A traditional mind cannot discover anything new.”When we follow social norms and ideas blindly, we become just another cog in a machine that is often mechanical and unkind.
😨 The Role of FearImitation breeds fear:
Fear of being wrongFear of not fitting inFear of disapproval And fear kills creativity, dulling both mind and heart.
Only by breaking free from this fear can we access our creativity, truth, and real wisdom.
✨ Final ReflectionTo live with true intelligence is to:Balance heart and mind Go beyond thought
Watch yourself without judgment Break free from internal conditioning Only then can we experience something truly NEW something that’s not borrowed from memory, tradition, or fear.
In that freedom, exists the possibility of real joy, love, creativity, and truth.
If you enjoyed this reflection, consider sharing your thoughts in the comments or subscribing for more deep explorations of mind, emotion, and consciousness. 🌱
The path of liberation is not difficult for those who hold no preferences — who neither like nor dislike.
When love and hate no longer cloud the mind, everything becomes transparent, clear. But even a slight inclination distorts the truth, widening the gap between earth and sky.
If you truly want to see reality, don’t form opinions — neither in favor nor in opposition. The moment the mind begins to prefer one over the other, it slips into illness.
Even a peaceful mind gets restless without understanding the depth of things.
Emptiness, Fullness, and Unity
This path is as vast and complete as the sky — lacking nothing, overflowing with nothing. Clinging or rejecting keeps us from seeing things as they truly are.
So, neither get entangled in objects, nor drown in the idea of emptiness. Instead, perceive everything in quiet unity — and all illusions will disappear on their own.
Even trying to be inactive is itself an activity. As long as you stand at either extreme — activity or inactivity — you miss the essence of oneness.
Those who do not live in harmony with the Way falter in both action and non-action. If you reject things completely, you lose their depth. If you fully embrace them, you miss their emptiness.
Beyond Thinking and Choosing
The more you talk and think, the further you drift from the truth. Let go of all thinking, and clarity arises on its own.
Return to the root, and you’ll understand the essence. Chase appearances, and the essence is forgotten.
When inner light awakens, both form and emptiness are transcended. The changes we see in the world arise from ignorance — not from truth.
Do not seek truth — just release ideas and opinions. Avoid duality. Stay free from notions of right and wrong, good and bad.
As long as the mind clings to “this” and “that”, confusion persists. All dualities stem from the One — yet don’t even cling to that One.
Settling the Mind
When the mind becomes steady in the Way, nothing in the world can disturb it. And when nothing disturbs it, those objects lose their hold.
When thoughts of distinction stop arising, the old mind vanishes. When objects disappear, the thinker disappears too.
The “I” and the “other” arise in relation — if one ceases, so does the other. It’s essential to realize both within the unity of emptiness.
In this emptiness, there is no distinction — everything merges into the One. When there’s no discrimination, what can be higher, what lower?
Effortless Harmony
This path includes everything — it is neither easy nor hard. Those bound by narrow views become fearful, confused. The more they chase after speed, the slower they go.
To cling is to stray — even clinging to the idea of liberation is a trap.
Let things be as they are — no coming, no going. Stay in tune with the Way, and no difficulty will disturb you.
When entangled in personal thoughts, truth becomes obscured. Everything starts to appear clouded. Even making choices is exhausting — so what good is it?
If you wish to walk the Way, don’t hate the world of senses and thought. Truly seeing them as they are — that’s real wisdom.
The wise cling to no goal — the foolish bind themselves to traps.
There is only One Dharma — not many. Discrimination arises from desire and ignorance.
Letting Go of the Mind Itself
To seek the mind with the mind — that is the greatest mistake.
Rest and unrest — both are illusions. When wisdom dawns, there is no liking or disliking.
All dualities are projections of ignorance — like dreams, like flowers blooming in the sky. Those who try to grasp them are deluded.
Drop all ideas of gain and loss, right and wrong — let them go immediately.
If the eye never sleeps, dreams cease by themselves. If the mind ceases to distinguish, all becomes one.
When seen without discrimination, everything shows its “unchanging face.” Comparison vanishes. Reference points disappear. This is an experience with no premise and no consequence.
Motion Within Stillness — The End of Separation
See movement within stillness, and stillness within movement — and then both fall away.
When this happens, even unity doesn’t remain.
No rule, no word can capture this final state. For the one who has found the Way, all struggles dissolve.
Doubt vanishes. Truth becomes clear. In a single moment, all bondage falls away.
Nothing sticks to you. You grasp nothing.
Everything is empty, luminous, and self-revealing — the mind makes no effort. Thought, feeling, knowing, imagining — all are useless here.
In this “as-it-is” world, there is neither self nor other.
If you want to come directly into contact with this truth, realize the freedom from “two.”
Total Inclusion
In this non-duality, nothing is separate, and nothing is outside of it. Any time, anywhere — to awaken is to step into this truth.
This truth transcends time and space — one instant is eternity. Neither here nor there — it’s always right before your eyes.
It is both infinite and subtle — no difference, no divide. Even existence and non-existence merge into one.
Don’t waste time in argument — don’t try to grasp the ungraspable.
One thing, all things — interconnected, inseparable.
Living the Way
To live in this truth is to stop caring about completeness or incompleteness. Trust the Way — it frees you from divisions. For non-duality is none other than unity with the trusting mind.
Words! Words! The Way goes beyond words — what can words say about that which has no past, no future, not even a present?
Closing Thoughts
This poem is not a philosophy, doctrine, or belief system. It is an insight into the natural state — a mirror reflecting reality without distortion. Walk this path not with effort, but with readiness. Everything is already here. You just have to stop grasping.
Right here and now, there is only one true person within you — the one quietly listening to the Dharma.
This person walks through fire without being burned, moves through water without drowning. They pass through the darkest realms — hells, hungry ghosts, and beasts — as effortlessly as strolling through a garden. Why? Because this person rejects nothing, avoids nothing.
When it’s time to get dressed, get dressed. When it’s time to walk, walk. When it’s time to sit, sit. Just live as your ordinary self — without craving Buddhahood, without chasing anything sacred.
To love the sacred while despising the ordinary is to remain lost in delusion. The real miracle isn’t walking on water — it’s walking peacefully on earth.
Those who live without trying to be special — they are the truly noble ones. Don’t strive to be something. Just be.
Try to grasp Zen in movement, and it hides in stillness. Try to grasp it in stillness, and it slips into motion. It’s like a hidden fish stirring ripples in the spring — dancing freely, untouched.
Blink, and you’re already off track. Think, and you’re already separate. Raise a single thought, and you’ve already deviated. But for the one who truly sees, Truth is always right before their eyes.
Don’t speculate. Whether you think you understand or not — both are mistaken.
I, a simple mountain monk, tell you clearly: Within the body — this field of five aggregates — There is a person of no rank, Ever present, not even a hair’s breadth away. Why don’t you recognize them?
The real self, with no status or label, Moves in and out through the doors of your face.
Followers of the Way, If you truly see through, You’ll leave behind even the highest spiritual ideals. A fully realized bodhisattva becomes a mere servant. An arhat or solitary buddha becomes like dirt. Even enlightenment and nirvana become nothing more than posts for tethering donkeys.
Why? Because you haven’t yet realized the vast emptiness of time itself.
Be the master wherever you stand. That very place is your true path.
When I speak the Dharma, I speak from the mind-ground — a truth that includes both sacred and ordinary, pure and impure, real and fleeting.
But your concepts of “sacred and profane,” “real and unreal,” Only label what cannot be labeled. The true person goes beyond all names.
Grasp and use — but never name. That is the mysterious principle.
Don’t wear the seal of a teacher just to claim you “understand the Way.” Even eloquence like a rushing river can lead to karmic confusion.
The true student doesn’t nitpick the world’s flaws. They search eagerly for true insight.
And if you awaken to clear, complete insight — That is enough. That is everything.
The one listening here — this person of no dependence — is the mother of all Buddhas. For Buddhas are born of non-dependence.
Awaken to this freedom, and there’s no Buddha to attain — no path to follow — no self to perfect.
Outside the mind, there is no Dharma. Inside it, nothing to gain. So what are you seeking?
Everywhere people say: “There’s something to practice, something to achieve.” But even that is part of the illusion. Even if practice could gain you something, it would still be tied to birth and death.
People speak of the six perfections, the ten thousand virtuous deeds, the seeking of Buddha, Dharma, and enlightenment. But all this, too, is karma.
Reading sutras, reciting teachings — karma. Seeking bodhisattvahood — karma. All of it, just more activity.
The Buddhas and the patriarchs are people of great stillness — not because they are inactive, but because they are free.
To them, both action and inaction, both desire and detachment, are simply pure karma — empty, weightless, and free.
Throughout the day, countless thoughts and imaginations cross my mind—most of which have nothing to do with my present moment. When these thoughts hold no relevance to my current reality, why do they continue to surface? Why do images and memories appear repeatedly even when they have no connection to my present?
Today, I decide to dive deep into this question. And as always, I begin by asking myself.
I know for sure that these thoughts originate from past events of my life—experiences that have left a lasting impression on my mind. They are fragments of my memory tied deeply to me and my life journey. Whether I want them or not, they come up—especially when I try to focus deeply on something important.
It feels as if these recurring memories are trying to hold me back, pulling my attention away and distracting me.
The Nature of These Thoughts
When I ask myself: What is the nature of these thoughts? What kind of thoughts are they?
These thoughts are deeply rooted in past experiences—many of which have impacted me emotionally, either positively or negatively. While pleasant memories don’t bother much, it’s the painful ones that consume a lot of time and energy.
These memories often include:
Moments of insult
Betrayals
Being bullied
Personal guilt and regrets
Long-standing emotional wounds
They are not just memories but also carry emotions that have not yet been released. And those unresolved emotions keep the thoughts alive.
What Does the World Advise?
The common advice people give is: “Forget the past and move on.”
But how can I simply forget something that doesn’t come or go on my command? These thoughts and images come automatically, without my permission. I neither consciously bring them up nor can I push them away. They arise and fade on their own.
So, when I have no control over their arrival, what is the point in trying to direct them?
Why Do These Thoughts Bother Me?
The real problem arises when these past-based thoughts disturb my present emotional state.
If an old memory of an insult arises, I start feeling anger. If a regretful action resurfaces, I feel guilt and sadness. And in this cycle, a lot of my time and energy gets drained.
So the root of this disturbance is not just the thought but the emotion attached to it.
Observing the Emotions Behind the Thoughts
These thoughts keep surfacing because of the unresolved emotions behind them—anger, guilt, fear, and sadness.
What should I do when such thoughts come?
I need to shift my attention to the core, to the center from which these emotions arise.
For instance:
If I feel anger from an old insult, I should observe who is feeling the anger, not just the memory or emotion.
If I feel guilty about an action, I must observe who is feeling the guilt.
This “I”, the center of all experience, must be the focus of my observation.
What Do I Mean by “The Center”?
Thoughts come and go. Emotions rise and fade. But the “me”, the center, is always present.
If I deeply observe, I will find that it’s not the event that causes pain—it is the sense of self that holds onto the idea of “I was insulted” or “I did wrong” that keeps the emotion alive.
So, What’s the Final Solution?
Here is a structured understanding:
1. We Cannot Control the Arrival of Thoughts
Thoughts come and go based on time, memory, and inner patterns. We don’t control this process.
2. Emotions Strengthen the Thoughts
As long as these emotions are alive, thoughts will keep surfacing. A thought without emotion cannot survive long.
3. All Thoughts Are Tied to the Egoic Center
Like the crow that flies off with a shiny object—we don’t need to chase the crow. We must check if our own pocket is empty. Likewise, instead of chasing thoughts, we must observe the center from where they arise.
The Deeper Truth: Let Thoughts and Emotions Flow
Behind every thought is an emotion. And that emotion is tied to the sense of “I”.
So, what is to be done?
Be attentive to your inner center at all times.
Let thoughts come and go. Let emotions rise and fall.
Watch them. Don’t suppress them. Don’t act on them blindly.
When the center becomes still, we begin to see clearly. We can observe the deep mental wounds that have remained unhealed for years—buried emotions that have been disturbing us unconsciously.
Seeing the Wounds with Stillness
Only in silence and stillness can we see these wounds.
When we cross beyond thought and emotion and start observing ourselves honestly, a deeper stillness emerges within. This stillness is not temporary—it stays unaffected even when the mind becomes restless.
You Can’t Change the Past, But You Can Observe the Mind
The mind has judged past events as bad, and that judgment causes present pain. New painful events may arise tomorrow too.
We can’t stop external events. But we can observe ourselves steadily, without analyzing, interpreting, or trying to control the mind.
In that watchful stillness, we may discover something fundamental—something unchanging and always present within us.
Stability Is Possible
It may be difficult in the beginning, but mental stillness is possible. Total inner peace is possible. And once achieved, it becomes a powerful tool.
When the mind becomes stable, you can use it however you choose.
No One Else Can Do It For You
No one can do this work for you. No book, teacher, or speech can replace your own observation. Healing begins the moment you face your mental wounds.
Yes, it’s scary to face the darkness inside. But there is no other way. As long as you avoid it, the mind will remain unstable, and your actions will continue to be affected.
Conclusion We must keep watching everything that arises and disappears inside us. Watch it fully—without distraction, without judgment. This awareness is the key to inner freedom.
My mind has become completely empty. There is nothing left in it now. Only fragments of daily memories float around for a while — someone’s words, a passing image — and then fade away. I don’t know when this happened or how. I feel as if my mind has always been empty.
I remember as a child, I used to watch trains coming and going far from home — without any reason. I feel like my mind has been empty ever since that moment. I sense that nothing is permanent in this mind. And whenever I look back, I am convinced that it is the mind itself that is impermanent.
The mind is ever-changing. Every moment, it chases after a new experience, a new desire. The past keeps dissolving, and something new keeps taking its place.
Now, at the age of thirty, I can say that all psychological activity of this mind has come to an end. This doesn’t mean that it has become completely dull or inactive. It simply means that the inner psychological world — the one that is tied to “me” — has ceased to exist.
I wake up in the morning, go about my daily tasks, and do everything that is in front of me with full attention. Of course, the mind gets distracted by outside noises and internal imaginations, but again and again, it returns to this very moment.
The emptiness of the mind doesn’t mean it is dead. An empty mind means you are aware of every movement of the mind. You are conscious of every thought that arises — you can see every imagination.
Freedom from the mind is only possible through total awareness. And in that awareness, we discover an empty mind — a mind fully conscious of its every thought and fantasy.
This is what people around the world refer to with various names — some call it the “Zen Mind,” others call it the “Empty Mind.” I don’t know what this mind is or what to name it. But I do know one thing — anyone can experience an empty mind at any moment.
You can do this just like how a child experiences the world — a mind that is empty, but incredibly active. A mind full of boundless and limitless energy. A mind without memories, without wounds, without images. A mind without duality — no sense of good or bad, no beliefs, no time, no day or night.
Only a mind that is fully present in this moment is truly empty — and only in this moment can a mind remain empty. There is no other way.
To empty the mind, no technique, no method, and no teacher is required. Just awareness is enough — awareness of every desire, every thought, every image that the mind produces.
If we are conscious in our speech, in our listening — if we are attentive in all our daily actions — we begin to understand ourselves.
Surely, if the mind becomes empty, it will first empty itself of all words. This mind is made of words and images. Thoughts arise from words, and images arise from the past and future. And these words and images are all tied to us.
It’s a very simple thing — our name is just a word. But we don’t perceive it so simply. If we could try to understand our mind in such simplicity — see things as they are — life would feel very light.
But we associate every word with emotions. This name we have — it’s connected to memories, to a family, a society, a religion, friends.
Still, nothing changes the fact that it is just a word. Had our name been something else, our religion different, our country another — our entire life story would be different. We would have been caught in another story.
Right now, we are caught in a story tied to a name. If that name is just a word, then this whole story is just made of words and pictures. All the experiences we’ve had — the pain, the desires, the journey — all belong to this name.
There is a story behind this name, there are people attached to it. But the truth is — we are not just these words and images.
Our mind thinks in words and imagines in images. One word gives rise to a chain of imagination. It goes on endlessly — one word tied to another, one image leading to the next.
The real issue is: we don’t see our name as just a word. How can we? How can we discard all those emotions? How can we let go of the good and the bad, the anger, the competition, the endless desires?
That’s why we cling to our name. That’s why we hold onto our story.
Every single moment, what are we doing in our mind? We’re fixing our story. We constantly rewrite old events, thinking, “If only this had happened instead…”
And how do we do this? We simply replace one image with another. If we hold a grudge, we burn in anger for years. We feed ourselves with hatred.
How can we let go so easily? We don’t even know how a thought becomes a pattern, how that pattern becomes an action, and how a repeated action becomes a habit. And over time, this long-term habit becomes our character. The character we live with — the one with a name and a story.
So how can someone separate from their own story? How can someone live outside their own thoughts and fantasies?
How can one go to work, live among people, lead a normal life — and yet have a mind that is empty every moment? A mind not burdened by memories. A mind not chasing fantasies. A mind not tangled in the past.
Is this even possible?
Yes — the mind becomes truly alert only when something becomes extremely urgent. In a moment of crisis, the mind stops thinking and imagining — it simply acts.
In those moments, there is no confusion. One who has seen themselves in such moments knows how the mind awakens suddenly.
Even when the mind is resisting, we do what needs to be done. When the mind is truly awake, sleep, laziness, hunger, and thirst don’t seem like obstacles. Everything becomes natural.
And in such moments, one can say to oneself: “No matter what is going on in the mind — it doesn’t really matter.”
Because total awareness of the mind is its total aliveness.
When the Indian tradition of meditation slowly made its way to Japan, it took on a new name—Zen. Numerous Zen schools were established across Japan with one sole purpose: to guide the mind into the present moment. Even today, countless followers continue to live by the teachings of this ancient path. Many Zen stories, in fact, still leave a deep impact on people’s lives.
One such story goes like this:
Two Zen monks were once traveling together. After walking a long distance, they came across a river. As they prepared to cross it, a sweet voice called out to them. A beautiful woman asked, “If you are crossing the river, would you help me too?”
Since the water was flowing swiftly, one of the monks hesitated, then finally said, “Climb onto my shoulders; I’ll help you cross.” She did, and he carried her across safely. She thanked them and went on her way.
Hours later, while walking in the hills, the other monk said, “Brother, you must have really enjoyed carrying that woman on your shoulders.”
The first monk replied, “She left long ago. But you’re still holding on to her in your mind.”
The Deeper Meaning
I leave the interpretation of this story to you.
But I ask—what would happen if our mind began to live in each moment? If we looked at the sky and felt as though we were seeing it for the first time? If a lone tree standing on a distant hill felt like a brand-new discovery? If we met people and felt like each interaction was truly new—not routine? If every task we did, even the repetitive ones, didn’t feel dull?
While this might sound poetic, there’s a profound truth hidden in these thoughts—a truth that is both incredibly close to us and yet frustratingly distant.
Our minds do enter the present moment—but only for brief glimpses. In deep sleep, when thought temporarily ceases. Under intoxication, when thinking is forcibly paused. While listening to a beautiful song, or watching an engaging movie. During moments of intimacy, or in various powerful life experiences—yes, we sometimes touch the present. But then, once again, the mind returns to its habitual patterns.
The Global Search for “Now”
Across the world, many meditation traditions aim to bring the mind into this moment. Some recommend specific practices, others promote certain mantras or yogic postures. Some encourage strict discipline, promising that eventually the mind will become peaceful, still—and present.
Sometimes, even rewards are offered: “Live in the moment, and you’ll gain everything you seek.”
But why do people even try? Maybe because they’re exhausted by the constant noise of their minds. Because their thoughts make decision-making impossible. Because there are images and memories they cannot forget, Guilt from the past they cannot release, Pain they can’t change, no matter how much they wish to.
In desperation, they chase peace. They adopt whatever practice seems promising. They follow the latest “popular” guru, hoping that maybe—just maybe—this time, something will work. And so, years pass. They wake early, follow routines like machines, repeating mantras or disciplines hoping for freedom. But there’s always a little more to go. A little more to gain.
Why Do We Believe Peace Is So Difficult?
Why do we think it takes years of effort to stabilize the mind? Why have we been taught that this journey is long and painful? Why are we told that simply being present—something we already are—requires a lifetime of pursuit?
Why is it so difficult to simply know who we already are?
So, what must we do to live in this moment—truly and completely?
To live in the now is to be in a place where past, future, and present merge into one unified experience. Is that even possible?
Yes—but only if we first understand: Where is the mind? What kinds of thoughts trap it all day long? What emotions does it endlessly create? What fantasies of the future does it weave? What experiences from the past is it still clinging to?
To live with full awareness in the present, we must uncover what pulls us away from it. What thought patterns keep replaying, dragging us away from now?
The Present Is All There Is
We are always physically present. Our bodies aren’t in the future. Our breath isn’t in the past. The world is passing before us right now.
But mentally, we are elsewhere. Lost in fantasies. Tangled in memories. Caught in desires. Absorbed in our own psychological stories.
And yet—there are moments. When we’re close to nature, when we truly listen, when we watch a sunrise or gaze at a starlit night—we briefly experience the now.
As we become more aware of the mind’s workings, as we watch its movements without trying to change anything, something shifts. Without reason or purpose, the mind begins to return to its natural, silent state. We must, however, see the full content of our minds.
We must observe the pain we’ve collected since childhood. The wounds that still make us cry. The thought patterns that keep hurting us. The habits that cause us constant distress. The mind is not something separate from us. We are the mind—its entire story is our own.
Everything we do—our walking, talking, listening—it all flows from the mind. And it all happens moment by moment.
The mind that lives in the now knows what’s going on within itself, because it is alert, sensitive to its own actions.
Why Does the Mind Keep Running Away?
Because that’s how it functions. A past experience appears in the present. Then it fuels a desire for the future. This cycle repeats constantly.
Look closely—you’ll see it too.
But here’s the truth: The mind is always in the now. The moment we deeply understand this fact, we gain the courage to face the mind’s deepest stories. We find the strength to face ourselves. We begin to transform—not someday, not in the past—but right now.
Change Begins in the Now
To truly live in the moment, we must undergo a total inner transformation. But we fear change. We find comfort in blaming others, in dwelling on the past, in laziness. So, why would anyone willingly change?
Only someone whose mind has broken them, shamed them, weakened them, again and again. Someone exhausted by the mind’s chaos will choose transformation.
To be in the now takes courage. The weak cannot remain in the present. To live in this moment, you must empty the mind—see it fully. See all memories, good and bad. Only then, maybe—just maybe—you’ll sit beside a flowing river and catch a glimpse of your real self.
Then, maybe you’ll see the life within you—the one that never dies. Then, perhaps, you’ll begin to love yourself. Then, you’ll respect not only yourself, but others too. Then, the boundaries between “you” and “others” may fade. Then, nothing will feel separate.
You will become one with the moment—the very moment where all existence resides
This question has been echoing in my mind for years.
Let’s begin this Journey and Enquire In Yourself…
I come from a household where everyone performs rituals and prays, observes fasts, but even then, their minds are not at peace. They are restless. And I know this very well.
Besides, I can’t spend the whole day in prayer and rituals. I have to go to work. Do my job. Do everything necessary for survival— everything a normal person does in this world.
So, is it possible to live amid all of this— amid the struggles of life— and still live with a lasting sense of peace?
I don’t want to escape to the mountains. I don’t want to seek a guru. I don’t want to rely on a psychologist’s medicines. I don’t want to do extreme yoga. I don’t want to chant for hours.
I just want to live my daily life in the best possible way— with a peaceful and stable mind.
Jiddu Krishnamurti, in his discussions, repeatedly spoke of a “permanent solution.” In his books, in his dialogues, he talked about complete peace of mind.
Today, I want to explore this deeply. Today’s central question is: Can the mind live, until its very last breath, in this body, with complete freedom, total peace, and awareness?
So, let us begin this inquiry.
First, I must understand what is impermanent. Until we understand the impermanent, how can we understand permanence?
One of the most essential parts of the mind is: Experience.
Every day, countless experiences accumulate in our minds. In a month, in a year, throughout life— one experience follows another.
Childhood memories, the days of youth, old age— events in between— these are all experiences.
We often say: “This happened to me.” “This is my story.” “These are the things I went through.”
These are all my experiences. And from each experience, we learn something, and then we live based on that knowledge. For example, if we burn our hand on fire, we never go near it again.
All our experiences are of the past. Naturally, we have no experience of the future. And all these experiences are stored in the mind as memories.
So I say—these experiences are mine. That’s why I cling to them. I am my experiences. I live through them. I act through the knowledge they have given me.
But what would happen if we had no experiences at all? Can we live without them? Can a human being exist without experience?
Let’s walk with this question.
We believe everything that has happened to us in life belongs to us. That’s why we live with it until our last breath. Old experiences become boring, so we constantly seek new ones.
We have the experience of sex, deeply embedded in the mind, from childhood to old age, we live through thoughts and emotions tied to this experience. A significant part of our time is spent in it.
We have the experience of taste— from childhood till now, we’ve tasted countless kinds of food.
We have experiences of emotions— both good and bad. Guilt, insult, fear, anger, love, compassion.
We’ve been through both traumatic and joyful events— accidents, emotional torture, first love, birthdays, weddings.
And all this is stored in our mind as memories.
Just like a computer stores information and works based on it, our brain stores these events as memories and acts based on them.
Depending on the kind of experiences a person has, they act accordingly.
Someone who has grown up with trauma shows its impact even today. Wounds from that trauma reflect in every part of their life. Their confidence, emotional management, the way they speak, the way they behave— all of it reveals their past.
Even if someone hides it from others, their mind keeps acting every moment based on what’s buried deep within.
Wounds like sadness, loneliness, complex behaviors, toxic personalities— these are all scars of experience.
So, now the question is: Can a person become free from all such experiences—this very moment?
They’ve lived their entire life based on these experiences, so how can they be free in just one moment?
Let’s explore this further.
We do understand that no experience lasts forever. It comes and goes. That’s true. But it gets stored in memory. It accumulates in the mind. And it gives rise to certain emotions— pleasant or painful.
Let me give an example.
Once I visited a beautiful hill station. I loved sitting there, walking around, being away from the chaos of daily life. The peace I felt there was wonderful. Though I left the place, the experiences remained stored in my mind.
So the peace, happiness, and joy I felt in that moment— that moment passed. But the memory remained. And whenever I feel restless now, my mind escapes to the imagination of that place. That peace has become a sort of emotional support. My mind is now attached to that experience. But all of it is just a memory.
Good and bad events happen, then they pass. But our mind holds on to them. Good memories bring good feelings, bad ones give rise to negative emotions. We stay entangled in this loop and keep living.
So here’s another question: Can we ever stop the mind from forming experiences? Because that’s what the mind does— it stores memories, forms patterns, and acts according to those patterns.
But if we are completely attentive in the moment, then the mind doesn’t store that experience as memory. Have you noticed that?
A very young child is never disturbed by memories. They don’t know good or bad experiences. They simply exist in the moment. Things come and go. The child is just present.
So if we are truly present in this moment— even if we are being insulted, even if someone is speaking harshly to us— and if we listen with total attention, if we observe the emotions arising within us, without reaction— we’ll see that the experience doesn’t stick in the mind. It simply comes and goes.
The mind only stores things when we are inattentive. When we view an experience through thought and emotion, that’s when it becomes memory.
Sometimes, someone’s nonverbal reaction stays with us. A few harsh words stick in our mind. They become part of our memory.
If someone looked at us negatively, we’re likely to look at them negatively next time. That’s because the first experience has created a pattern. If we were totally attentive in that moment, the event would come and go.
Whatever arises in the mind— see it. Don’t run away. Don’t be afraid. Look at it. Whether good or bad, look at it without adding thought or emotion. Look honestly.
You’ll see the burden on your mind becoming lighter— because you’ve started to observe your wounds. Every time they arise, observe. Let them come and go. You’ll notice the mind starts to understand: “These are just past experiences.”
The mind also learns that whether it’s the memory of a delicious meal or a traumatic event, both are just experiences. Though we treat one as serious and the other as trivial, they are both of the same nature.
When you see this fully, everything becomes just a passing experience. Nothing clings to your mind anymore. Nothing accumulates. Each moment becomes free. It’s not bound by the past. Old experiences don’t hurt anymore. And gradually, the influence of the past fades.
Slowly, the mind becomes of the present moment. Where past, present, and future merge into one. Where only this moment exists. And in this moment, there is no memory.
To some, this may sound like a new idea, maybe even difficult. But what I’m pointing to is beyond all experience, all thought, all imagination, all emotion. It is so pure— no concept can reach it. So free— no bondage can contain it. And this truth, this wholeness, is us.
Beyond this impermanent mind, there is something permanent. Something that has always been with us. That will remain even after the body is gone.
When we discover within ourselves something that is permanent, unshakable— like a rock standing steady in the flowing river of life— then whether we’re in a crowd, at work, at home, with someone, or alone— we remain completely free.
We observe our own mind— every thought, every image, every experience, every pain, every desire, every movement— we are just watching.
And in that state, we are with the permanent.
To live like an animal— being born, living, dying, suffering endlessly because of the mind— if that feels like too much, if one is tired of it all, distressed, sad, afraid, anxious— then what option do they have but to watch their own mind?
Observe your mind. See the wounds that weaken you. See the beliefs you’ve created about yourself. See the old habits you fight with daily. See the imaginations that cause you pain.
See them— just as you would see a mountain or the sky. With total freedom.
Why be afraid? If there is fear, then observe the fear.
The brain evolved to help us live, not to make us suffer. Use its reasoning capacity. Learn from yourself. Look within. All answers are born from there.
That is the lasting peace which is present in us at every moment. It is never born. It never dies. It has no attachment. No bondage. No image. No memory. No shape or form. And this lasting peace is who we are.

There’s an old story about an eagle and how it is reborn. The eagle has the longest lifespan among birds—it can live up to 70 years. But to reach that age, it must make a difficult choice.
When the eagle turns 40, its body begins to weaken. Its long, sharp claws become too weak to catch prey. Its strong beak becomes bent. Its large, heavy wings make flying hard.
At this point, the eagle has only two choices: either die or go through a painful process of change.
The eagle chooses to change. It flies to a high mountain and finds a safe place to rest. There, it starts hitting its beak against a rock until the old beak falls off. Then it waits patiently for a new beak to grow.
Once the new beak grows, it uses it to pull out its old, useless claws. After new claws grow, it starts pulling out its heavy, old feathers.
This whole process takes time and pain. But once it’s done, the eagle takes flight once again—fresh, strong, and full of life. It goes on to live for another 30 years.
The mind and its control—this is something we are all deeply curious about. Why? Because nothing influences our lives more than our own thoughts. All of us, in some way or another, try to manage our mind. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we fail—but we keep trying.
Still, wouldn’t it be better if we could understand the mind more deeply? Can someone really help us in this journey?
Yes—those who have mastered their mind can surely guide us. From saints, sages, and self-realized souls, we can learn how to work with the mind through simple and meaningful spiritual practices.
Mindfulness is The Key
Think of mindfulness like a fun indoor game. If you play with a playful attitude—not too serious, not too loose—you’ll enjoy it even when you occasionally lose. It’s not a game of perfection, but of learning and growing.
To play this game well, you need a mix of skills: awareness, patience, humour, kindness, cleverness, endurance, and a little courage. Why courage? Because the mind will test you over and over—and you’ll need strength to keep going, even after setbacks.
Teachings Of Geeta
Let’s go back to an ancient and powerful conversation between Arjuna and Shri Krishna in the Bhagavad Gita. As Krishna talks about the peaceful state of yoga, Arjuna—overwhelmed by confusion—admits something we all feel at times:
> “O Krishna, the mind is so restless, so strong and stubborn! I find it as hard to control as the wind itself!”
Can we blame him? We’ve all felt that frustration. The mind jumps from one thought to another, gets stuck in fear or desire, and wears us down.
But Krishna, representing timeless wisdom, replies with a calm truth:
> “Yes, the mind is restless and difficult to control—but it can be mastered through practice and calmness.”
This teaching has been the foundation of Indian meditation and self-mastery for ages. And even today, it holds the key.
3 Simple Truths About Mind
From this Gita conversation, we learn three powerful lessons:
1. Controlling the mind is not easy—even strong people like Arjuna struggled.
2. But it is possible.
3. There are clear methods—and they are based on two things:
Practice (Abhyasa)
Dispassion or calm detachment (Vairagya)
Wisdom From Ramkrishna Speeches
Here’s a beautiful exchange between Sri Ramakrishna and a devotee, which makes this idea even more relatable:
> Devotee: “My mind is not in my control.”
Sri Ramakrishna: “Why do you say that? With practice, the mind will go wherever you guide it. The mind is like a white cloth. If you dip it in red dye, it turns red. If you dip it in blue, it turns blue. The colour you choose is the colour the mind takes on.”
Isn’t that a beautiful image? It shows that your mind is flexible—it just needs direction, given with love and patience.
4 Steps To Keep Your Mind Still
Yes, practice and dispassion are the keys—but how do we bring them into daily life?
Here’s how:
1. Strengthen your will – First, develop a strong desire to control and understand your mind. This inner fire is the starting point.
2. Understand the mind’s nature – The mind loves movement, distraction, and comfort. But it can be trained gently over time.
3. Learn simple practices – Start with basic mindfulness exercises, breath awareness, daily reflection, or silent sitting. Do it regularly—even just 5–10 minutes a day.
4. Be consistent, not perfect – The magic is in repeating the effort, not getting it right every time.
Change is The Final Truth
In the end, the mind can be both your prison and your path to freedom. It depends on how you treat it.
Don’t be harsh with yourself. Don’t expect perfection. Instead, play this inner game with love, courage, and a little humour. With practice and calmness, you’ll see changes—not just in your mind, but in your whole life.
> The mind is not your enemy. It just wants your attention, your kindness, and your steady hand.

There’s always a lot happening in life.Often, we carry the burden of past experiences on our shoulders. We live with guilt, with grief, with anger.Sometimes we cry out to the universe “Why me?”“Why is all of this happening to me?”We look around and wonder why life seems easier for others. Why do our lives feel so difficult — again and again. Why do we face so many obstacles, while others seem to move through life with ease?We begin to compare, and this comparison only adds to the weight we already carry.
There are moments in life when pain becomes unbearable. When the days are so heavy that we can’t even cry for ourselves. We feel trapped.Whatever We Are Going Through in Life The Fact We Have To Keep Moving Forward and There is No Other Option Left.
We Can’t Change Our Past
We cannot return to the past and change anything. We can’t undo what’s been done. But we can shape what lies ahead.Even if the change we bring is small Even if we cannot completely transform ourselves
What matters most is this:Are we willing to move forward, little by little, in the face of pain?In the middle of All these Daily suffering in Our Life.
Are we taking care of our health? Are we nurturing our inner world? Are we showing up, even when everything feels difficult?
This is not about becoming perfect. It’s not about eliminating all pain. It’s about responding consciously to what life gives us.It’s about saying yes to life, even when life seems to say no.
This is Your Life
The situations we find ourselves in are not always of our own making. There are many factors That influence us all the time social, emotional, karmic, ancestral that shape our path.
Why, then, do we drown in guilt? Why do we hurt ourselves internally for things beyond our control?
Let this be your reminder. Stop punishing yourself. Release the guilt. Forgive yourself. You are still learning. You are still healing.
The Path of Keep Moving Forward
There is only one rule to moving forward:Have a reason greater than your pain. You need a dream, a vision, or a purpose that is bigger than your sadness.
Bigger than your current situation. Bigger than your fear. You need something that makes Your struggle worth it.
A vision that pulls you forward even when you feel like giving up.Let that dream be your guide.
Let that goal be your Path. When you have something that matters more than your suffering, then even the worst days will seem easy.Any Situation Of Our Life will feel like a stepping stone.
Don’t Feel Stuck
If you are getting up every day with the courage to try again… If you are still fighting despite breaking again and again… If you are still choosing to grow, even if it’s slow and painful…
Then you are already strong. You are already rising. Because somewhere deep inside you,
there is a spark that refuses to accept defeat. And that spark that dream is the most sacred part of you.
Hold on to it. Let it grow into a fire. Let it become the force that moves your entire being.
That is how transformation begins Not in loud, grand moments, But in Deep Solitude Of Our Mind.
Let Them Bark at You
True growth does not always look dramatic. Sometimes, it’s as simple as choosing to eat well.
To breathe deeply. To sit in silence with yourself and listen. Even as the world around you storms,
can you remain still within? Even when people misunderstand you, can you stay loyal to your purpose?
This is inner discipline. This is mental strength. This is emotional clarity.
And it doesn’t come overnight.
It comes through small acts of courage, repeated daily. It comes when you stop looking backward and decide to move ahead not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually.
You Don’t Have To Know The Destination
Maybe you don’t know your life purpose yet. Maybe you haven’t found that one big dream.
That’s okay.
Wanting peace is enough. Wanting clarity is enough. Wanting a life of meaning even if you don’t know what that means yet is enough.
It is Not A OverNight Success
The problem is not whether we have a purpose or not. The deeper problem is We don’t spend enough time with our purpose. We don’t give it our energy. We don’t stay with it long enough to let it shape us.
Ask yourself: What do I want to do in this life? What do I deeply care about? And once you know that
Stick To It. Do Not Distract. Become immovable.
Go to the very end of this Path. Not halfway. Not only when it’s easy. Go till the last chapter.
Because only by going all the way, we find the power we never knew we had.
The Beginning Chaos
Of course, the beginning is hard. Change is always uncomfortable. But facing the discomfort is necessary.
Only by facing pain, do we grow strong enough to hold joy. Only by learning how to stay, do we learn how to rise.
A meaningful life doesn’t start by running from pain. It begins by walking into it with courage, with presence, and with love. Start from there. That’s a sacred beginning.
One Life,One Dream And A Still Mind
When your mind becomes centered on a purpose,a strange thing happens:
Life begins to respond to you. You don’t chase things anymore You attract them.
You don’t beg for peace You become peaceful. You don’t fear circumstances
You rise above them. This is the secret of all spiritual paths
The power of a still and purposeful mind. A mind like that can build anything.
Create anything. Heal anything. Your Purpose Must Be Your Highest Priority The world is full of distractions.
You must not let them steal your focus. Your purpose should be your first love. Your greatest devotion. Your highest truth.
Do not let pain distract you. Do not let fear pull you back. Do not let the opinions of others decide your path.
Turtle Wants You To Keep Moving Forward
This is not just about achieving success. It’s about reclaiming your own power. It’s about becoming so strong inside that nothing outside can break you. It’s about building a life
you can be proud of not for others to see, but for your soul to rest in.
You don’t have to be extraordinary. You just have to be sincere. You don’t have to be fearless.
You just have to be willing. And if you are willing then you’re already halfway there.
So, breathe deeply. Stand up slowly. And start again Not because life is easy,
But because you are worth the effort. Make a promise to yourself That no matter what happens,
You will keep moving forward. Let the world change. Let the storms come. But you
Keep walking. There is no other way. And truthfully, you don’t need one.
There has never been a moment at Manikarnika Ghat when death waited. It never had to. The burning ritual of a human Body never stops here. The fire never rests. This sacred cremation ground in Varanasi, the spiritual capital of India, is always alive with the death of bodies and the silence of souls.
It’s a place where life burns constantly, but nobody seems to care. The value of life becomes zero, relationships appear meaningless, and worldly attachments lose their grip. Greed, jealousy, anger, guilt, ego, caste, and religion—none of these human labels matter here.
It’s 2 AM at Manikarnika. The world sleeps, but this place is awake—like it always is. Stray dogs sleep on the ashes, unbothered. An Aghori sadhu smears the ashes of the dead on his chest. I watch him silently. He chants the name of God, but I cannot hear him. Or maybe he is beyond words, beyond language.
What was he trying to tell us by rubbing ashes on his chest?
Maybe the same eternal truth that this body will eventually become ashes. That we are nothing but dust and will return to dust. This is the cycle of life and death that Hindu philosophy speaks of—where death is not the end but a transition to liberation (moksha).
A Child’s Funeral Without Tears
There’s a family nearby. They have come to perform the last rites of a baby girl—perhaps the first girl born in their family. She lies on the funeral pyre. They all watch as the fire consumes her tiny body. But nobody cries.
Strange, isn’t it? Why isn’t anyone crying? Because Body is a symbol of attachment. And Manikarnika is beyond All the attachment of human life.
All emotions ends Here, and the reality of death becomes so powerful that even sorrow feels irrelevant. You don’t cry for what’s inevitable. You just watch in silence.
Manikarnika is Sacred
Every time you come to Manikarnika Ghat, you’ll feel it hasn’t changed. It’s always the same.
This is Mahashmashan, the Great Cremation Ground in the city of Lord Shiva. Usually, cremation grounds are located far away from cities. But this one is right in the middle of the crowd, the noise, the chaos. As if to remind us: death is not separate from life—it walks beside us every day.
A City Older Than History
There is a holy pond (kund) here that is said to have been dug by Lord Vishnu himself during the creation of the universe. It is believed that a jewel (Mani) from Goddess Parvati’s ear (Karnika) fell here hence the name Manikarnika has been given for this place.
These are the myths, the stories passed down through generations. But they give this place a spiritual identity, a sacred history, and a sense of timelessness.
As The Journey Of Life Goes On
Here, death is not an end—it is a door. A passage to something beyond. Hindus believe that a funeral at Manikarnika leads to moksha, or liberation from the cycle of rebirth. That’s why people from across the country bring their loved ones here for cremation.
The narrow alleys that lead to Manikarnika are filled with chants of “Ram Naam Satya Hai” (The name of Ram is truth). The air smells of smoke, sandalwood, and burning flesh. The Ganga River, once pure, now looks dark and muddy near the ghat, burdened by the endless ash and offerings.
Under the open sky, bodies are brought in constantly, starting their final journey toward liberation. It’s a silent world of movement, where some mourn and some just observe. A few men are seen filtering the river water—perhaps in search of gold or silver from jewelry that was washed away with the dead.
And yet, no matter how many times you visit, Manikarnika feels the same. As if time stands still here.
A Place Beyond All Sufferings
Despite the smoke, the ash, the endless sound of burning, there’s something peaceful here. Something freeing.
When you come to Manikarnika Ghat, your worries begin to dissolve. The stress, the anger, the everyday problems—all start to feel small, even foolish. You realize how short life is, and how pointless most of our attachments are.
But once you leave and go back into the world, you return to the same life, the same chaos. Manikarnika is beyond all of this—it exists in a space where none of this matters.
If you ever visit, just sit quietly somewhere. Don’t talk. Don’t think. Just observe.
Observe how death gives no special meaning to anyone. Rich or poor, young or old, all are treated equally by the flames.
Observe what all we suffered mentally all those pain has no meaning after death.
Observe how, in the end, you can’t carry anything with you.
No matter how successful you are, no matter how great your life is, in the end, all you get is a bundle of wood—and your body lying on it, waiting to be burned.
Observe how your lifelong fears and failures meet their final moment. And you’ll start to wonder: What was I holding on to all my life?
Manikarnika is the Truth Of Life
We cannot avoid death. It is eternal. Inevitable. Unstoppable.Manikarnika is truth.
But instead of fearing it, let us live our lives fully. Let us do good. Let us speak kind words. Let us make this life meaningful.
Because only when we do good in this life do we live in the hearts of others, even after death.
We must work to make this world a better place—for our families, our society, and our country. Manikarnika teaches both despair and hope. What you take from it depends entirely on your perspective.
The Flame Of Death That Never Dies
The burning pyres at Manikarnika Ghat are not just fires of the dead—they are mirrors of life. They show us who we truly are when all illusions are stripped away.
In its constant burning, Manikarnika reminds us that everything we chase—status, wealth, fame—is temporary. It shows us that the only thing that survives beyond death is the karma we leave behind.
So the next time you find yourself caught in the web of life’s problems, remember this sacred place. Remember that you are not here forever, and that what truly matters is what you do while you are here.
Visit Manikarnika not just as a tourist or a mourner, but as a seeker of truth. Sit in silence. Watch. And listen to what death wants to teach you about life.
There comes a moment in life when you are left completely alone. So alone that the only thing keeping you alive is the need to answer the most fundamental questions about your existence.
You don’t want to lose your life—but life’s pain keeps breaking you, day after day.A deep desire to live this life each and every day remains strongly with You, yet another voice Keep dragging You Down.
The Great Fire Of Solitude
May be This is the moment when a quiet inner revolution in The Human Mind begins For A complete Psychological Change .
For the first time, we see ourselves. For the first time, we find the courage to ask: “Why?” What is it in this mind that causes such suffering? For the first time, we begin to read the book of our own life and take the first steps toward change.
Questions That Change You
I discovered the teachings of Jiddu Krishnamurti during such a phase—when I began to ask myself essential questions. Jiddu never called himself a guru, and I don’t call myself his disciple either.
In this world, everyone is eager to make disciples. There are thousands of methods to find peace. But often, you end up becoming a machine—again. The truth is, you must fight a personal battle within.
If you are truly honest with yourself, perhaps you can touch that vast ocean of peace which others are searching in the lust or desire. As Jiddu once said:
“When you light up your own darkness, only then can you illuminate the world.”
Uncovering Hidden Patterns
As a child, I used to walk alone every evening and sit in front of the setting sun. That became a habit. Even as I grew up, this evening walk stayed with me.
But I never questioned why I always preferred to walk alone? Why did I avoid crowds? Why did I remain socially distant? I never asked: What is loneliness?
Because repeating those patterns gave me a false sense of comfort—just like everyone who finds momentary joy in repetition.
The Vow to Never Run Away From Myself
One day, I finally asked myself: What is loneliness?
This question became essential. If I didn’t stay with my loneliness now, I’d fall into another pattern—perhaps become someone’s disciple, start religious rituals, or run away to meditate in the mountains.
But something deep within told me:
“I want to live in this world, among these people.”
I made a vow:
“I will never seek escape from life’s challenges again.”
Yes,My career is struggling. I often have no money. I’ve spent long years in suffering. But now, I will no longer hide behind smoking, drinking, or spiritual distractions. I won’t create new patterns to run away from reality.
This was the beginning of my personal revolution.
Observing Without Escaping
So I began to ask—what is this loneliness?
How can I read myself if I don’t sit with myself?
How can I listen to myself without stillness?
To truly understand myself,I had to observe how I speak to people,What do I think about them, how my body felt, and how I react. For all these understanding I need A solitude to bring light on every dark corner of my mind.
All the things I had gathered from family, school, society, relationships—what were they?isn’t these memories are just the conditioning of my mind.
So My Thoughts, emotions, actions—all has to be seen. Not analyzed. Just seen and Let Go.
Watching Myself Completely in Solitude
If I feel a negative emotion,I don’t need to escape it anymore.
Instead of avoiding it—I try to see it completely. I ask:
“Where is this emotion coming from?” “Has it come before?” “Is it part of a pattern?” “Is it connected to an old emotional wound?”
Even when I feel hurt or insulted—it’s not me, but my self-image that is hurt. It has been hurt before, many times. The same emotion is resurfacing again.
I don’t need to fix it. I don’t need to figure it out.
I just need to stay with it. The mind, if watched carefully, will reveal everything.
To Be Alone Is Not To Be Lonely
Very few people truly understand solitude. We are trained to be dependent. On someone, something, or a belief.
Aren’t We?
Solitude becomes hard when we’re taught that being alone is weakness.
Look at a tree—it stands alone yet is part of the world. It is connected to all, while remaining deeply rooted in its own space.
Society tells us we need more money, power, fame—to be enough. But inner darkness doesn’t dissolve that way.
We must go inside. Again and again. We must love ourselves so deeply that we no longer seek validation.
Watch Yourself Like a Child
No one can truly help us. No one can remove our darkness.
When we accept this as a fact,we begin to grow.
Even when difficult emotions arise-sadness, fear, anger-we must see them like we’d observe a child.Watchfully. Lovingly.Without judgment.
Like a child who laughs, cries, gets restless.we must stay attentive and take full responsibility for that inner child.
If we are not there for ourselves, who else will be?
Be the Light for Your Own Darkness
This world lives within us. So does its pain, noise, beauty, and peace.
We must see all that is hidden: our anger, our sadness, our restlessness, our fear.
And to read ourselves deeply, we don’t need anyone else.

Thank you for exploring this journey with us. We hope you found something that makes your heart feel a little lighter today.
When a stone falls into a pond,we can see the ripples it creates.Waves rise and fade away on their own.
The water returnsto its original still form.Water always remains water—unchanging, still, and empty.
But when there’s turbulence in our mind,we don’t allow it to settle by itself.
Then the Fear is born.We start thinking. We try to force our mind into silence. And then the mind forgetsits natural, calm state.
What is it that disturbs our mind?Someone’s words,an image,an incident,an experience,or imaginations of the future. All day long, these things keep spinning in the mind.
One thought follows another, one emotion follows the next. The mind never staysin one place. It fears going deep into any task.
Our heart and mind are never fully involved. It runs in one direction, then another.
All day,we keep running from instabilitytoward stabilityand from stability back to instability.
And in this way,a day passes,a year passes,an entire life passes.
But something is always present—like water.Always watching, always listening, always sensing. What is itthat remains calmeven after the mindwanders for a lifetime?
When the mind is sad, this stillness keeps watching. When the mind is happy,it keeps watching.
Is it really possibleto find this stillnessin the midst of the mind’s chaos?I believeit is possible But for that,we must watch every activity of the mind.
But can anyone be so honest with themselves?Maybe only the onewho learns to listen to the mind,to observe the mind,to be with themselves, can be that still.
A child asks for something if denied, they cry.We attach ourselves to someone and fear losing them.An experience happens we start living in it.
No matter how organized our outer life is,inside, there remains a certain disorder. So many wounds,so many memories cling to the mind and simply stay For a Long Period of Time.
And we go on living like this.A person whose mind hasdeeply troubled them, weakened them, scared them—who has suffered due to mind’s patternstries to bring a little change.
But still, the deep layers of the mind remain. We always actfrom our childhood programming, our parents’ behaviors, our past experiences, our memories.
And thus,we never see that stillness which is always therein every moment. The past and the future—they are just the way the mind functions.
Everything in our past keeps leaning toward the future.Every day,new memories get stored. In this psychological world,we are never still.
Whatever we do—the mind gets bored. It gets tired of people,of its own habits. And then one day, life itself starts to feel boring.
Even if this whole lifeis just a memory for the mind, even if all this information about “me,”and this separated experience,is still connected to “I”—there is something within us that remains untouched by all this.
Truly, this is a wonder.I feel this is the greatest mystery in the world.
In truth, our mind is unstable—but we are not.The mind remembers everything—pain and joy alike. But there is something within that holds no memory, that is always still, that only watches.
And the moment we hear this,we ask—”How can I attain it?”And this question itselfis born from desire—a creation of the mind.
Then the mind starts trying—searches through books, goes to people, goes to the mountains—and finally gets caught in its own web.
If we are that stillness,if we are that witness, then how can it be “attained”?How can it be searched for in the mind?
All these efforts that people make in the world—aren’t they just in vain? Those who are trying to find something inside—they’re only fooling themselves.
What are you searching for?And Whom are you searching? When that itself is you. That is me.
You’re entangled in names,in images,in beliefs,in stories,in philosophies. But all of that exist within the limitations of the mind.
The mind defines the meaning of words. It creates images. It builds beliefs and traditionsover centuries.
Philosophies and scriptures—they are all made by the mind.Water has no shape,no form,no identity.
Throw a stone into it or a flower—whether it’s the water of a pondor of the ocean—no matter where or what form—it remains water. In the end,it is only water.
Even if it’s mixed with dirt, even if its color changes,it is still water.
Be still.Be still.Be still—and keep watching the mind’s restlessness.
